SPCCMUN2015

About the Conference

SPCCMUN Conference 2024

St. Paul’s Co-educational College Model United Nations (SPCCMUN) is, like other MUN conferences, a simulation of the United Nations, offering students an exciting opportunity to play the roles of world leaders and diplomats representing nations in various committees. Throughout the process, delegates will gain insights into the dynamics of international relations and hone their skills especially public speaking, negotiation, teamwork and policy writing.

SPCCMUN Conference 2024

SPCC is proud to present the second iteration of SPCCMUN from 2 to 5 July 2024. At this conference, we embrace the overarching theme of sustainable development, featuring three councils, namely The European Union (EU), The Human Rights Council (HRC), and The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Delegates from our school and abroad will debate contentious issues ranging from Russo-Ukrainian War, child soldiers to preserving cultural heritage in hopes of drafting innovative solutions for a more sustainable, equitable future.

Over the course of four days, delegates will engage in rigorous debate and consensus building, they will also be enlightened by keynote speeches presented by experts in respective fields such as Professor Puja Kapai Paryani, Associate Professor of Faculty of Law, The University of Hong Kong, Ms. Teresa Yang Ming Yen, Vice Chairman of the Esquel Group, and Ms Victoria Wisniewski Otero, Founder & CEO of Resolve Foundation Ltd. To ensure the best possible conference experience, it is advisable for delegates to reside in nearby accommodation.
